And the Jackass of the Week Award goes to Jonathan Edwards
Originally when I first heard Edwards spouting off about Two Americas I thought Shiester Lawyer. But now I know that he’s right (well he’s left, but that would be wrong).
In my America a straight man’s haircut only costs $10-$20 Dollars. In his America a haircut costs $400.
My suggestion to Mister Edwards is this; if you truly want to fix the problem of two America’s and bring equality to the masses (something I truly doubt), go out and get a $12 Dollar haircut and then pay for 66.6 other men to get the same haircut (or better yet let his campiagn funds pay for them).
Otherwise your compasion about the downtrodden in America, the lesser of the two Americas is a load of Donkey Dung from Americas biggest Jackass.

In a recent comment, Sandra Day O’Conner states that it’s the responsibility of the people to protect the judicial branch of our government from the legislative branch.
This is something that truly bears a second thought. A group of individuals have usurped power by granting themselves privileges, and inferring rights not in the constitution, then claim they need the protection of the people? Isn’t this akin to a dictator who took power in a military coo, oppressing his people and then asking them to protect him from the military?
This description of judicial activism might sound a bit extreame, but these examples support it:
The constitution clearly states in Article III Section I that a Supreme Court justice serves in good behavior not for life. Yet the misconception has been spread that they serve for life. This in itself is not unlike a dictator, benevolent or otherwise.
In ROE vs Wade the Supreme Court gives the right to abort a Human Fetus to Women, again not in the Constitution, but supported they say by the right to privacy.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg publicly admitted that she refers to international law in handing down her decisions. Not only is this extra constitutional, but could even be construed as an act of treason.
In the Kelo decision the Supreme Court ruled that government has the right to remove property from someone, in order to provide it to a wealthier private party, thus increasing the tax base. A clear violation of the 5th Amendment
Finially the removal of God from the public square; the constitution does not now, nor has it ever drawn a line of separation between Government and Religion. It does however clearly prevent the establishment of a state religion, and the practice of religion by citizens of the state. Yet time and again the Supreme Court denies our Right to worship in the Public Square by imposing the Religion of secular humanism upon us.
So to Sandra Day O’Conner I ask this simple question; Have you ever read the Declaration of independence, which lead to the birth to the Supreme Court?
When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. –That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
