Surfing the web one day and came across this liberal guy Daniel Patterson’s blog. Like all progressves there were acusations of oil conspiracies with Haliberton and Cheney causing global warming.
Being tired of hearing this idocy about Man Made Global Warming, I couldn’t resist posting a comment. It went something like this:
There was a time when all the worlds scientists were in consensus that the earth was flat
We are not currently experiencing an ice age (as predicted by all the world’s scientists in the 70’s), the ice caps are melting on Mars, blizzards have hit everywhere from Colorado to New York, and it snowed in Tucson this year; therefore, we must join in consensus to proclaim Cheney is personally responsible for Climate Change in our Solar System!
I checked back a few days later (to see my post), and the blog was converted to invite only. This was rather irksom and I was all set to trash him (once I launched this blog), but it turns out it was only temporary.
So instead of a hit piece, I’m giving cudos to one of the few Liberals in this country with the courage to allow for discourse (my comment is on his blog in public view).
Having posted comments to a number of blogs in the past and having none of them approved, I have to give Daniel credit. I consider him a man of his convictions, but unless he becomes a conservative I won’t vote for him when he decides to run for Mayor of Tucson.
