He then turned to fast growth consumer product markets, serving as Director of Marketing for Tommy Hilfiger, where he helped position it as the fastest growing menswear company in the world. Gordon has lectured and spoken at over 57 universities, cultural forums, and institutes in the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America. He has been a consultant, advisor and board member to corporations, governments and institutions including charity: water where he was a founding board member, the Jonathan Edwards Center at Yale University, the Society for Classical Learning, the Association of Classical Christian Schools, the Second Century Council of Carnegie Hall, and the International Arts Movement.

Steven and Rene Springer are the Founders and Senior Leaders of Global Presence Ministries, headquartered in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
