Our Community
We are a community of Believers who value God’s Presence and desire to see its fullness evident in our lives, homes, schools, businesses, cities, and throughout the nations of the earth. Our community centers itself first and foremost around the Presence of God through a lifestyle of prayer and worship. From this place of receiving God’s love and loving Him in return, we release His goodness to the world around us through demonstrations of love, grace and power.
Our Culture
Love is the Goal
Loving God, loving ourselves, loving people.
‘Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love. Let love be your highest goal!’
1 Corinthians 13:13-14:1
In response to the unconditional, extravagant love God has for us, our first and foremost pursuit is to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. From this love relationship, we are empowered to live out the second greatest commandment: to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Presence-Centered
We are aware of God’s Presence in all we do. Our ministry flows from an intimate relationship with God, obedience to His voice, and passion for His manifest Presence. As a lifestyle, we practice recognizing God's presence while we interact with others, having our hearts postured to say what He is saying and do what He is doing.
Every time we gather together to worship, our focus is the presence of God, not performance. It’s about encountering Him and ministering to His heart. As we lift up the Name of Jesus, people are drawn to know Him. We recognize the significance of our worship, that it brings both personal and global transformation.
Relate as Family
From a place of simply being God’s sons and daughters, we walk in confidence of the goodness of our Heavenly Father. We do not strive to earn His love, acceptance, or approval; He has already given it to us. Our obedience flows out of our love relationship with Him.
We recognize as we have been adopted into God’s family as His beloved sons and daughters the value of relating to one another as family. We bring family into all we do, raising our children in the presence of God and embracing the wisdom and experience of every generation. As we journey together, we grow in trust and vulnerability with one another. We relate to one another as family, not as an organization. We don’t just go to church, together we are the Church.
Naturally Supernatural
We regularly see demonstrations of God’s love, grace and power. We live overcoming lives as we agree with the prayer of Jesus: “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” There is no sickness, sin, anxiety, or turmoil in Heaven, so we contend for healing, righteousness, peace (complete well-being) and joy here on the earth. Signs, wonders and miracles are our inheritance!
Honor & Value
Honoring God, honoring ourselves, honoring leadership, honoring others.
We honor what we value. We trust and value God’s good leadership, which He demonstrated not only in word but in action. We value all people, recognizing that they are created in the image of God, and we celebrate the unique way God has gifted each one.
Local & Global Impact
We are given to a unified vision that is both local and global. We disciple people, and we disciple nations. We believe in the power of God’s love to transform people’s lives and bring societal transformation.
In addition to the apostolic HUB in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, Global Presence has established bases in Ghana, Africa and Maui, Hawaii, and has a network of churches and prayer rooms throughout the Great Lakes Region. We also minister and help build in several other nations in South America, Asia and Europe.
Holiness & Grace
We embrace the fire of God’s perfect love, and the grace which empowers us to live set-apart lives. We are intentional about fostering an environment that has both the fear of the Lord and grace operating in equal importance.
Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? To surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.
Romans 12:1 TPT
Prophetic & Creative
We are a prophetic community that values and operates in revelatory gifts. We apostolically build based on the Word of the Lord and the wisdom of Holy Spirit.
We explore creative ways to express God’s heart and innovation in the way we engage culture (e.g. how we do business, evangelize, live, etc.). In our worship we have established a culture of creativity that both honors and reflects our Creator. Heaven is full of beauty, color, expression and movement, so our worship also includes powerful elements of music, art, dance and flags.
Integrity & Influence
Through the finished work of the Cross, we have been given the authority and call to walk in the integrity and power of Jesus. God has given us His love, His Son, His Holy Spirit, His Word, angels, gifts of the Spirit – everything we need for life and godliness – so we can live overcoming lives and represent Christ to the world.
Relational & Missional
We often refer to ourselves as a “tribe” because we are both relational and missional. As the family of God, we carry out the commission Jesus gave the Church to demonstrate the love and power of the Kingdom of Heaven, discipling people and nations.
We are part of the governing Body of Christ on the earth: His Ekklesia (Church). The term “Ekklesia” is a Greek word meaning those who have been called out, appointed, and who make legislation. We believe there is a greater measure of authority and power that God wants to release on the earth, changing the way we see ourselves as the Church, the way we see God, and the way we build together.
Gaze & Go
“As we set our hearts continually to gaze on the beauty of who Jesus is, we are transformed by love that compels us to go. We, Steven & Rene, coined the phrase ‘gaze and go.’ Fascinated by His face, gazing on His glorious splendor and all that He is, we cannot help but be moved by the things that move Him. Our hearts start to burn with His passion to see others come into this amazing reality. It is the gazing that compels us to go and be witnesses of His great love.
Grabbing hold of the greatest commandment–loving God with all that we are–will always lead to the fulfillment of the Great Commission: going into all the world… We are going to see a change in this era with a generation of ‘laid-down lovers’ who, in the midst of going, do not lose their gaze. This is how Jesus operated during His ministry on earth. He did only what He saw the Father doing, He said only what He heard the Father saying, and He prayed only what He heard the Father praying (see John 5:19). Jesus’ heart was always connected with the Father’s, and from that place He was moved not by compulsion or religious duty, but by compassion.”
