Global Presence, Dallas/Fort Worth
God has been repositioning and reassigning many in the Body of Christ these past 3 years. Prior to 2020 our family and ministry were deeply rooted in Wisconsin. God began speaking to us in 2019 that a big move was coming. He spoke 3 cities to Steven: Hollywood, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Atlanta. Naturally, the next question for this “boots-on-the-ground” wife to ask her visionary husband was: “Honey, we are uprooting our whole lives and moving to a city, not three cities, so which one is it? We need to pick one.”
His confident reply was, “Yes, of course, but it still is all three.”
“What?! Well, how about we prioritize the one we are to move to.” 😳🤔😘
As we leaned in to discern which city to choose, it became clear Dallas/Fort Worth was to be our new home and base for our global ministry.
This was further confirmed prophetically by our spiritual fathers and mothers for whom we are so thankful. In times of such big decisions they bring much-needed confirmation and wisdom. During a phone conversation with Steven, Papa James Goll shared this prophetic picture: “I see an eagle, and the body of the eagle is in Dallas/Fort-Worth. That is where the Eagle’s Nest will be established. I also see the wings of the eagle; one wing is touching into Hollywood and the other wing is touching into Atlanta.”
There you have it! Our three in one!
Now to determine where specifically in the metroplex we were to move. As we prayed over the map of Texas the Lord made it clear: Keller, Texas. We did not know why Keller, but were about to find out just how significant recovering this specific territory would be. Steven was given further instruction by the Lord on how to start to build in Keller:
As we prayed into this further, the bigger picture and strategy of the Lord would become clearer. The prophetic anointing (the eagle) raised up and nurtured in DFW (eagle’s nest) would impact Arts & Entertainment, not only in DFW, but would extend (like eagle’s wings) into Hollywood & Atlanta.
The Redemptive Call of Texas
Whenever we are invited to speak and minister in other territories, one of the first things I do is ask God what is His redemptive call on that city, state or nation, and what are tactics of the enemy to hold it captive. In our big move to Texas, this is the first thing I listened for so we could move with His Spirit in His redemptive plans. When I asked our Father how He saw and identified Texas, I heard, “Texas is my Anchor State, and I have called you to help secure the anchor, for it is not as secure as people may think.”
There is a sense of the urgency of the hour and this assignment. With the storm that is coming upon the earth we must “batten down the hatches” and “secure the anchor” of hope for the United States of America.
Batten Down the Hatches
“Batten down the hatches” is a nautical term from the early 19th century. It is an order given by the captain to the crew when the ship was about to enter rough seas. The crew would close all the hatches (doors) on the ship's decks and use lengths of batten (rods) to secure the hatches in the closed position.
Beloved Intercessors, forbid and close the doors (hatches) to the enemy over both your life and our nation, and receive and agree for the Lord’s discipline (rod) to strengthen and mature His beautiful Body.
Secure the Anchor
Scripture refers to anchors as a symbol of hope:
“We have this certain hope like a strong, unbreakable anchor holding our souls to God himself. Our anchor of hope is fastened to the mercy seat which sits in the heavenly realm beyond the sacred threshold, and where Jesus, our forerunner, has gone in before us. He is now and forever our royal Priest like Melchizedek.” Hebrews 6:19-20 TPT
How do we secure this anchor of Hope in America?
This anchor must be weighty, so in the priestly anointing we must invite the weighty, manifest presence of God to rest on the great state of Texas. We agree with the fullness of the saying, “Everything is bigger in Texas,” and declare that Texas will indeed be “big” in the power of the Spirit.
“So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.”
Zechariah 4:6 NIV
“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.”
1 Corinthians 2:4-5 NIV
As we have agreed with this word about Texas being God’s anchor state and have pressed into Him for more revelation, we saw that even the shape of the state of Texas resembles an anchor.
Let’s prophetically decree over Texas:
“Texas, you are called by the Lord to carry the weighty manifest presence of God, anchoring America in hope. We call forth the levitical priests and watchmen on the wall who will not stop making mention of the Lord day and night until Jesus is the praise on America’s lips.”
“Texas, we call you out from under a spirit of religious duty, and we call you into the empowerment of grace and the Spirit of full acceptance.”
“We invoke the fear of the Lord over Texas, revelation to see the vastness of His majesty and His purposes for the earth. Texas, you are called by the Lord to be BIG IN THE SPIRIT, not by might or human strength, but by the Spirit of God.”
“Texas, you are to be a global hub of glory, called to impact this nation and the nations of the earth. We call forth the Ekklesia to legislate from heavenly realms, to bring alignment with God’s purposes for the earth according to the blueprint of heaven.”
